I think what I got out of this is that you began to take responsibility, not for the failure of your first business, but for letting it drag you down! If we don't begin to take responsibility for our actions, the continue to compound until you truly hit rock bottom.
Hi @thickman34 I don't disagree. The failure of the first business was not mine. In fact it still continues to this day, extremely successfully, but without me at the helm due to varying factors beyond my control. I guess I had supplanted all the negativity from the experience over the path forward and lost my way. I'm not a negative person generally but this one got the better of me and I exited an industry I was extremely successful in because of it. All good now though...I'm on the right track. Got my running shoes on too. :)
