Can Steemit Provide Enough for A Life of Travel Just by Blogging?
How Much Steem Does It Take?
Our 10 day trip to Budapest cost approximately $150 US per person/day (including airfare).
That was 2 adults and 2 children.
Look how the poor children suffered.
They were bored to death seeing Michelangelo's painting of St. Giles.
They didn't know what to think of this guy Claude Monet.
The UNESCO World Heritage building that our apartment was in cost us just over $110 US/night and the owner provided shuttle service to and from Liszt Ferenc airport.
We had several quiet breakfasts and a bottle or two of Tokaj wine on the terrace.
Airfare was more than half of the cost of the trip, so if we had stayed longer, the daily cost would be considerably lower.
If 2 adults and 2 children were all providing their views of the experience, I think it's very possible to afford this life by blogging.

Nice pictures. At those prices yes if everyone is blogging I do think it is possible. Most of us dream of traveling and blogging I think. ~_^ Thanks for sharing.
I think traveling to different places and experiencing different cultures also leads to better understanding and less conflict.

That is very true and I'm glad to have heard this because I'm only one person by myself! You just motivated me to spend more time on Steemit.

Or, if you are looking at $600/ per day.
Sure, if you are a whale that can post 4 articles a day and upvote yourself at $150, it is feasible.
Air fare was $3200 for four people, that's $320/day of the cost right there.
Extend the stay and it drops considerably.
The apartment was in one of the most exclusive Districts in Budapest, good accommodations could have been had for $60 night (maybe less).
We bought a week long pass for basically all of the public transportation in & around Budapest for about $17 each. Trams, buses & metros.
Divide that by 4 people, each posting from their own perspective and to their own audience and it's a lot less than that.
At the rate we are going, you could maybe get $10 a day for 4 posts by 4 people. LOL
I think it's absolutely possible, but it won't be easy. Where you go obviously has an impact on expenses as well. Start here, spin off and start your own travel blog and other social media accounts and then have all of them feed on each other?
I think the biggest thing to consider if you are already going to travel is the financial advantage of being able to declare at least some of your expenses for tax purposes.
YouTube has a lot of travel bloggers and from what I understand from other that have come to Steemit, it's a lot more lucrative a lot faster than YouTube.
