Shopping For The Big Festival Durga Puja (Goddess Durga)
Hello Steemians A big festival is coming soon and I went to shopping with my family for this festival. Many of you don’t know about Durga puja cause it is a festival of Indian subcontinent so before I share the pictures taken by me when we were shopping I want tell you small things about Durga Puja. Durga Puja is also called Durgotsav or Navaratri. It is an annual festival of Hindu or Bengali Hindu in the Indian subcontinent. Durgotsav is the calibration of goddess Durga, to the great victory over the Buffalo demon named Mahishasura.

- Panchmi 25th September 2017 Monday
- Shashthi 26th September 2017 Tuesday
- Saptami 27th September 2017 Wednesday
- Mahaa-Ashtami 28th September 2017 Thursday
- Mahaa-Nabami 29th September 2017 Friday
- Dashami 30th September 2017 Saturday
In this few days we enjoy with our family and meet each other. Here in Kolkata a week or so before the celebration, the whole of the city starts getting masked with a touch of excitement. The overwhelming way with which the people out there welcome Goddess Durga. This is really heart-warming.
As you can see from the title I am here to share some photographs taken by me when we ware shopping. In the picture we are in the shopping mall called (Baazar Kolkata) situated in 493/b/1, G.T. Road, Naora, Shibpur, Kolkata, West Bengal 711102. Nice place for good quality of clothing for everyone with low to high any budget.
