in #life6 years ago

We may experience some common problems related to health in our everyday routine. Sometimes these symptoms can be left unnoticed and automatically disappear. However, when the symptoms persist for longer periods, it becomes something to be concerned about. If your normal remedial action is not helping you get rid of some ‘usual looking’ symptoms, it means that you need to pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you.

Here are some of the serious signs indicating health problems that you must not take lightly :

  • Yellow skin
While we tend to ignore when we experience yellowing of the skin all of a sudden, it could be a sign of damaged liver or gallbladder. It is also a typical symptom of severe conditions like jaundice. Normal skin tone shouldn’t be yellow, and if you are experiencing something of this sort it’s advised that you get yourself checked by your doctor.
  • Dark Urine or Blood Streaks
The normal range of the color shade of urine should be transparent to light yellow. Dark urine should be a sign of several different health conditions in your body. Regardless of what the condition is, dark urine is not normal and you must see a doctor about this. However, if it occurs temporarily once or twice it could simply be due to dehydration. Drink a lot of water to recover from this, and if it doesn’t help you should see a doctor. Also, the blood streak, drop or coloration in the urine could be due to inflammation or even cancer. Don’t ignore if you persistently experience blood in urine and get medical assistance immediately.
  • Partial blindness
If you are experiencing blurred vision on just one side of your face, either left or right, it could be a sign of stroke, brain damage, hemorrhagic bleeding in the brain or even rupture of blood vessels in the brain. If your vision of just one eye is affected, it could probably be a problem of the eye. However, if both your eyes are unable to see one side of your vision, it could be a sign of stroke and needs to be checked immediately.
  • Partial numbness or paralysis
One-sided numbness and paralysis of the body can also be a sign of stroke. The patient would normally experience difficulty in movement of facial muscles, arm, and leg of just one side of the body. This needs to be addressed urgently.
  • Abnormal genital discharge
If your genital organs are experiencing a lot of unusual discharge, including tissue discharge, blood, and abnormal secretion, especially in women, it could be a sign of cervical cancer. This could also occur in combination with a painful sex as a result of an infection of sexually transmitted disease. Don’t ignore it and get yourself checked at the earliest.
  • Swollen feet
It’s okay if it occurs temporarily due to standing for several hours or doing rigorous work. However, if your feet seem to swell for no good reason, it could be an indication of an unhealthy heart and blood pressure problem. If you find your legs swelling instead of your feet, it could be an indication of blood clotting up in the lower part of your body due to a lot of sitting. If these symptoms remain persistent even when you are in a relaxed state, get a body checkup to discover possible causation.
  • Blood Loss
If you are losing blood from the places you shouldn’t be, whether it’s your bleeding gums, blood in your stool, blood in your urine or blood in your vomit, never ignore it. These conditions can occur due to various reasons from leukemia and infection to bad tummy health. Whatever the case may be, it’s important to report and get a diagnosis of abnormal bleeding.

Conclusion
These conditions can be disruptive and cause serious harm if they’re not addressed at the right time. Make sure that your conditions are never left ignored upon the onset of these symptoms. Changing your lifestyle and eating habits can do wonders in keeping you aloof from many of these problems. Let’s keep good care of the wealth of health that we all have.
