Nice thoughts. But it comes down to reasoning about what might be true vs. accepting what God has already revealed.

God showed up in person as Jesus and explained that He would have to die for us because no one can do enough good deeds to satisfy His perfect standards. All we have to do is accept that sacrifice. If we insist on doing it ourselves, we will fail. This is the test. Trust Him and win or trust ourselves and fail.

All other religions of the world teach that we must do good deeds. That's not what God says will work. Just the opposite. Trying to do it ourselves rather than accepting His free gift is actually offensive to Him.

He explained this to people who were quite able to understand it and write it down of us.

Yet, people still make posts like this assuming they know better than God what it will take to please him.

I recommend reading the Bible and doing what Jesus said. Start with the book of John, then read Luke, Acts, and Romans. Then read the rest.
