(#2) Why do we label people...? (if you get offended easily just skip it)

in #life7 years ago (edited)

First of all, please be open minded cause I am not writing this offend anyone, I am writing it because what most of the people want from other people it's against the fucking nature of people, so if you don't withstand some reality you can just move along...

We label because it's easy to do it and because every living thing labels the shit around it: every animal knows what to hunt, what to run of, and who's not in the pack, as well as the Neanderthals and ancient tribes labeled people from out side of their village as enemies. And if you think you're more evolved than the animals just because you have feelings, think again when you go pass that local homeless guy from your area without giving him shit. We are slaves to our instincts.

So this works like this: If you have a bag with 100 beans, and you see that 90 beans are damaged somehow, you throw the whole fucking bag because you, as any other animal, don't have the instinct to analyze the whole bag just to search the 10 good ones. Even further, if you do that, you might find that 1 or 2 beans from the 10 good beans are also fucked but on the inside.

This is what we do with humans also:

  • if a person stinks, you don't stay and get to know him to see his fucking personality, you just get away from him\her\fuck you too gender tards with all your bullshit.
  • if the the shortest road to your friends house is through bad neighborhood, you don't go through that neighborhood because are not all the same; you just avoid the fucking neighborhood.

I've seen a lot those bullshit quotes, and they are completely retarded, all of them. It's like telling a coal miner that what he does is bad for the environment...well fuck you, he does what he can to survive...

This is related to my (#1) article.

Using labels and quickly trying to identify and categorize is a way of managing time. If you were to give every person the unlimited amount of your attention you would quickly realize that it is unsustainable.

At the same time I would like to say that I think labeling is very different from judging someone. I personally try to not judge because you never know the story behind the situation people are in.

When I first arrived in New York I decided to talk to everyone that opened up for at least a short time. My first month in New York I ended up in front of a group of huge investors because of a random encounter.

"I think labeling is very different from judging someone" - yes it is.

But a lot of people consider labeling as a form of disrespect. Today, yes, it's also for saving time.

I have had that happen to me in neighborhoods that were mainly white in the nineties and even now. Through maturity l have learned to laugh at stupid stuff off. But once in awhile l have to remind myself it's not worth it. The United States was built on racism .

I am documenting my self and reading a lot about the American civil war, also watched some documentaries on it for my new book. The saddest part is that some historians believe that "the south never died"... which is at least disturbing.
