Im starting the Christmas shopping early this year for a change
I know it early but with kids, it is the time of the year when we need to start thinking about Christmas presents so were not left rushing around and buying crap at the last minute. I'm gonna do everything online this year from the comfort of the house. Nothing like sitting at the computer trying to pick things when there is too much selection of everything. For example, you what a phone case and your local mobile shop have 20 designs to pick from. Its easy to pick which one of best suited because there are only 20. You go onto amazon and there are thousands of designs and picking a simple phone case becomes a mission and you end up wasting 30 minutes looking at them all and deciding. What was i talking about, oh yes starting the Christmas shopping early?.
This year, I'm going to start buying all the small things now, i already have cards ordered from moonpig and have started to buy for stocking fillers. Other small things that stuff the kids get every year, like clothes, games, books and stuff like that will be got this week and then I'll get there bigger presents closer to the time. I have already know what I'll get the wife and I've started a small fund to gather up the dough for that. Oh yes, I'll be well prepared this year. I already know what I'm getting my parents and just need to pull the trigger and that's pretty much, as much as i have to do.
The rest as in my extended family, the wife sorts out and that's her problem. She's normally pretty good and starts early every year. Every year, i buy something for the house and this year, I'll be getting one of those light projectors that you put in your front garden to project Christmasy stuff onto your house when its dark, currently 14 hours a day. And i need something to hang over the fire in the living room. I add Christmas stuff every year so when I'm 50 I'll have a sweet selection of stuff.
I actually don't really like Christmas that much but with a family, you sorta just have to get it done. I like the day itself but the build-up for 2 months, listening to Xmas songs on the radio and its taking over for 2 months every year is a bit OTT. Christmas puts a lot of stress on people from all walks, suppliers to produce enough goods on time, workers stressed because of long hours, parents stressed because they need to get their kids stuff and others missing loved ones. There is a lot of fo stress wrapped around Christmas, someone's Birthday. WHY?
In Germany I have the feeling that Christmas sweets are on the shelves of department stores earlier every year. We buy some of our Christmas presents as early as September, depending on how it turns out.

I hate Christmas and the whole Christmas season.. such a fake ass bullshit holiday. I don't celebratethat shit. I don't buy anyone anything..
I like Christmas a lot. Especially the small Christmas village houses and stuff. All lit up and awesome. I have a train that goes around my tree. You would like Christmas too, if you were with your buddy @fat-elvis 💐
