All it means is Give a woman the opportunities accorded to men too. It's a cry for a fair and just treatment and an end to practices that oppress women.

That is feminism,, simply put.

Unfortunately many women have used feminism as a tool to hate men. This is not surprising cos just like any movement, there would always be people who would abuse it. Take a look at religion for instance.

Every woman displays her own feminism based on her experiences and her goals.

I beg to differ.

I don't think every woman have or should have their own brand of feminism. If this is so then feminism seize to be a movement and become just set of opinions. This is the major reason why women abuse feminism in the first place and why they'll never be taken really seriously.

I wish its possible for all women to stand under one brand of feminism.

As for me, i'll teach my daughter to be a feminist. The right kind of feminist. I'll tell her that whatever a man can do, she can do also and she should fight for that opportunity to no matter what they tell her.
