Request for Our City to be under ECQ Again😥

Good morning my dear friends. I just got this not-so-good news last night from a very dear friend. The city and the province officials decided to request from the higher ups that our city be under ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) again due to continued rise of active covid-19 cases here.

Last July 17 alone we have 5 confirmed cases here. A total of 17 confirmed cases in the entire La Union province. Hence the request for ECQ. (Source: from the city and provincial FB page)

I might have pushed my adrenalin that is why again I am the very first person to arrive here this morning. And yes you're right. I opened the office. 😁

I was too hype this morning. I don't know...maybe because of this request. Iniisip ko kasi na ECQ na at madaming tanggapan ang magsasara. We will soon be back to the "old normal". No transportation, no more dine in and limited shoppers will be allowed in every grocery stores or malls. I feel like I need to come here early and go home early as well. I don't know.

Ma approved man o hindi ang request na ito ng aming mga opisyales, kailangan namin maging handa para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. I hope and I pray that whatever the action of the higher ups will be for the good of everyone in our city as well as in our province.

We are praying, constantly praying for this pandemic to end. Let us keep praying together. Let us keep praying for our leaders, for our country, for all the brave frontliners and for all those who lost their loved ones in this battle. Pray without ceasing.🙏

I love you all. Please be safe be prayerful. And keep the faith. God is faithful and always true to His promises. Let's claim it and be rested in His presence amidst this pandemic.🙏🥰
