Lieutenant Malcolm Reed was one of the most decorated officers on-board the Enterprise NX-01. He served as the Tactical/Armory officer. He was an Eagle Scout and obtained 28 merit badges. That is two more than his Captain, Jonathan Archer.
Malcolm was loyal to his captain and the hardest worker in every room. His hard work wasn't to show off but to make sure that his crew and his captain were always safe and sound. I loved Malcolm's character. He was shy, a little obnoxious, had a never give up attitude, obsessed with his work, and cared deeply for his colleagues even if he couldn't show it through emotions.
He reminds me of a younger me lol.
This Sun Tzu quote is so spot on. We don't always have to fight to win in life. Strategic planning, careful observation, attention to detail, and flawless execution almost always trump aggression and violence. Stay calm and conquer the world, people.
