As I write this, I remember a saying by Oliver Goldsmith, "Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations." Life truly is a journey from start to finish and the only thing that matters is the journey itself, however it might be, because that's what remains when we are gone.

Most people make the mistake of focusing only on a destination without realising that it is an imaginary construct of our minds that keeps
shifting each day based on our many decisions, be it small or big.

That is the reason why many feel overwhelmed in their lives at the smallest hint of things going awry. Today, most people are ruled by anxiety and fear, which cripples them from living life to the fullest or in ways that it was meant to be all along.

In the end, it is all about perspective and the realisation that life is a roller coaster ride which will take you to new heights but also make you experience the extreme lows, over and over again. It is with this understanding that we must pursue our goals in life.

Don't Stop

Whatever we do, wherever we go, if we have this little awareness in the back of our minds, it will make our journey of life that much easier and serve as a guiding hand if and when we find ourselves steered off course.

It is quite alright if we deviate a little sometimes as our emotions and feelings take over our decision making, but ultimately it is important to come back on track and have a goal in sight for which to continuously strive. This is all that matters, for ourselves as well as the people around us we call family and friends.

Try making the best of opportunities and learn from the challenges. As they say, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Sooner or later, you will succeed and achieve your goals.

Also keep in mind that it is all about the journey and that should make things easier. Keep in mind, that if there is night time, the day is not far away. It all happens in cycles and it happens to everybody. Just remember to write the best story for yourself you can and make it one of triumph.
