The Fault in Our Stars - Who is Esther Grace Earl? 🌺

You guys may have read this novel. This is the sixth novel by the most renowned author “John Green”. The theme of this novel confronts the issue of dying every day. 

Plot:  

Hazel (main character), a Cancer patient meets Augustus Walter in a support group and falls in love with him. Love birds try to deal with cancer, and takes care of each other. The story is wonderfully written and you cannot hold your tears back.   

Is this a True story?  

Well, I have been reading about “Esther Grace Earl” who was a Thyroid Cancer patient. She was a friend of John Green, and an author, vlogger, an activist and has inspired the character Hazel Grace. But it has been made clear that Hazel Grace is not the portrayal of Esther Earl instead John Green dedicated this novel to her.  

Esther possibly means “Star” in Persian. Her book, “This Star Won't Go Out” is making a huge difference in the lives of cancer patients. This young and beautiful lady died on August 25th, 2010 in Boston.  

Esther Earl and the novel “The Fault in our Stars” is an inspiration to all of those people facing an internal conflict on daily basis. We all face problems in our life but how we face them is the important thing.
