False MISSILE Strike Spiked PORN Traffic - A Metaphor of Life Within the Matrix

Residents in Hawaii received a text message alert at 8:07am on Saturday, January 13, stating that a ballistic missile was headed towards the island. Porn website Pornhub revealed that in the time after the text was sent, the site saw a huge DECLINE in traffic as people were seeking shelter. At 8:45am residents were alerted that it was a false alarm and Pornhub shared that just 16 minutes after the second alert, there was a huge SURGE in views.

What would you do if TODAY is your LAST day?

When people were asked this question, the top three answers are (1)spend more time with love ones; (2) make love (3) follow my passion e.g. travelling, painting, writing etc.

What's striking about these answers is that they share one common theme - "stop whatever you're doing right now and do something more meaningful."

Author's note: If there's an internet site that measures the amount of time the residents of Hawaii spent with their love ones, I'm pretty sure we would see a much higher spike than the porn site.

We are tricked (as opposed to "forced" since we do have a choice - whether this is known or unknown depending on one's level of consciousness) to live the lives we don't want.

In his 2005 commencement speech at Stanford University, Steve Jobs gave the graduates a somber reality check: “Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.”

Jobs continued: “Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

We Are Slaves Working for a Master We Don't Understand

The threat of a missile strike will wake us up from our monotonous daily existence controlled by our egocentric self. This egocentric self exists for one and only one reason - self satisfaction.

The egocentric self is represented by several little bosses whose insatiable cravings we endlessly satisfy until death put an end to our suffering. There's this little boss who wants good food. Another boss who wants fancy cars. Still another boss who wants power and dominion over others. Yet another boss who lusts for sex etc. etc.

The egocentric self is the cause of all the sufferings in this world because it promotes self love rather than unselfish love. Which world would you rather live in?

A world full of smart people who only cares for themselves or a world where people genuinely care about one another?

Imagine a world populated by only smart people like Elon Musk or Bill Gates. All six billion people living on earth are perfect replica of Elon Musk. Will this world be conflict-free? Will there be no wars, no ethnic cleansing, no suicide bombings? Will it be a world with no poverty, inequality, and religious persecution? I doubt it.

How about a world where all six billion people are like the Dalai Lama? A world where every person's sole objective is selflessness, harmlessness and the expression of unselfish love?

I for sure would want to live in the latter world.

The human brain is a good servant but a bad master. Realizing the full meaning of this timeless words is the first step to freeing ourselves from the matrix.
