I googled for a quote to soot the caption and picture above and could not find what i wanted so i had to come up with the above quote.
After seeing this photo this morning, my paradigm as regard business and utilizing opportunity shifted. Its reminds me of what Wayne Dyer said in one of tapes i listened to months back: if you change f you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change

In Nigeria for instance it has fast become a trend/culture that after you graduate from university the right thing to do is start writing cover letters and big high profiled resume on why you need this and that job in a blue chip company. Somehow this has ushered many into the belief that a job is the only thing they need to survive and so they indirectly so on expressing their desperation in been on the organisation monthly payroll.

No Body Wants To Hire A Robot
Yes you may be graduated from the best University with first class honors in business administration or Banking and finance and you know how to use all the business buzzword but my dear that is not enough in the real world.
Ingenuity and flexibility would also give you an edge in all ramification.
Mind your Own business
Every good chef of course you know sure have their own secret working formula (recipe) for a great dish. In the same vain you need to be true to yourself and find out what works for you.
In the real world its not your certificate that seals the deal, its your ingenuity and "smartificate" that creates the difference.
Who would you rather hire? Be honest?
A The guy who graduated with first honours and knows all the business buzzword at the tip of his fingers but lack ingenuity and is adamant to change in the business.
Or
B The ladies as seen in the picture (pls ignore the nudity) who may have graduated with third class honors but is smart and business suavy.
We really have to primarily stop hoping for aids from government and invest in our thinking ability to how we can make our sphere of contact better than we met it and of course beneficial to all concerned.
Lets look at it this way: her ingenuity in selling her lemonade can be compaired to you dyor (doing your own research) and curating trending post that yields you $100+ per week whereas some are out there letting impressive cover letters for 9-5 jobs that would yield them $50-70 per month.
