These were the exact words of Tin Man (Collosus) from the first part of deadpool, but the last part of the quote got me thinking. Sometimes, we only wish for bad to happen to the people we consider our enemies, but we tend to forget that we ourselves are someone else's enemy out there, and we have not been destroyed by their desires.

Have you ever thought about the term "mercy"? The beauty of it is; it should apply to all or none, without a recourse to whether they are qualified for it or not. Remember; for you to be qualified to receive mercy, you too must show others mercy.

How would you feel if you are given the maximum punishment for every of your offences? I'm sure you might have been broken by now. Truth is; if mercy and second chance never existed, people like us would have been very lonely by now.

If you have ever received mercy and granted pardon for any of your offences, then why should you be quick to wish your enemies ill? It could be the enemy you spare today that might be the friend that would save you tomorrow.

People change, situations change, friends change, and even enemies change. Let your goodness not be limited to only your friends - you can win the heart of men with your good. Just like my friend would always say "win the battle of evil with good". This should also apply to us.

So guys, let your mercy also flow to the people least qualified for it, and your would not be stranded when you need mercy the most.
