For Good
You would be remembered for either the problems you solved or the ones you created. But it is up to you to choose how you want posterity to remember your memory by the way you live and relate to people around you, and also to humanity at large.
The goodness you do to others is never lost. But rather, it is like a seed which you plant into your future - and the same goes for the bad you do to others. It would still find its way back to you - maybe in a different fashion. That is why I have always been an advocate of "goodness to one; goodness to all".
When you are in a position to show acts of kindness to people (maybe those that don't even qualify for it), do you deny them the kindness based on the fact that they are not qualified for it by your standards, or do you do the good without a recourse to qualifications?
Can I tell you this? The goodness you do to someone might actually be where their hopes of survival may have been hinging on. And denying them the goodness is like denying them their chances of existing.
When you do good to people, do you expect anything in return, or do you do it from a heart borne out of love for humanity? The later is actually what posterity would remember.
Your net worth is not based on the quantity of your possession, but it is a function of the quality of what you have given for the course of humanity. And no matter your current state, you still have something to help humanity with - so we need to go all out and show the world what "heart of humanity" is; and by that, we would heal this world.

A successful man should try to aid people around him to be too, a good legacy lives to stand the taste of time. Its needless being self-centered when its obvious that a day will come when everyone will obey the law of life cycle. We are like trees, being a shade to others should be our priority...you are one of the nice persons I know on steemit, thanks for the heads up bro
