Balancing Up

Whatever you do in life, always try to find an appropriate balance for them. Some people would become too serious about life; and forgetting that being a workaholic without finding time to play would only lead to a dull performance. There is nothing wrong with working hard, after all, that is one of the requirements of success, but do not allow it to take the entirety of you. I mean, do not let it consume the best side of you - always find a balance.

You are your own individual, and you are absolutely responsible for the issues and outcome of your own life. Even though you need to enforce the kind of change you want, but sometimes you would only need to embrace what life brings and move ahead with it.

No matter what you have or do not have, do not try to compare yourself (in strength or weakness) with another person - because they are not you, and you are not them. Your uniqueness is embedded in your difference. And if you try to look like everyone else, then you would lose your uniqueness, and the best you can come up with is a second.

You do not need to pursue everything that comes your way. An idea might be appealing physically, but you still need to think over it. Try not to take major split-seconds decision when you are tensed. Also be cautious of the way you speak when you are angry, and also of the promises you make when you are happy - some words are just indelible, and you might not be able to unsay them when you have said them.

Finally, try to find reasons to stay happy. Remember; life might not be very fair to you, but it is still worth living.
