More than anything, just needed to vent at a sticking point during the process - and never really sure how, but tend to find such sharings provide some sort of service to others at times through their reflections.

You just summed up the 21st century disease, in my opinion.
Everyone is trying to create wealth from nothing.
Make stuff, make profit on your stuff, profit your spirit and soul - by making 'stuff' that you like to make.
Maybe get rich, maybe not - but creating - making - IS the reward.
If getting rich - without product- is an enviable endevour, you are entering the territory of the sociopath.
Not a nice country to be in...
