The statement "experience is the best teacher ", is one statement that is putting most people in the prison of regret and frustration because most people can't distinguish the areas of life where such statement is applicable and the areas where it isn't. The truth is that, in the journey of life, you don't need to experience a situation before you can learn the lessons in such situation because the lessons of life is everywhere for us to see.

i am not disputing the fact that experience could be the best teacher that anyone could consult in the business world because most business processes involves repititive or similar actions. But in the journey of life, experience can be the worst teacher that anyone can ever consult. Life's processes are dynamic and most life's events don't require similar or repititive actions. Thus, waiting to experience a thing in hope that you would become a master in such thing does not apply in life. This is one of the reasons why most people keep having a cycle of the same ill experiences over and over again without realizing that they had gone through such things before because most life's processes don't follow paticular pattern like in the business world.

having the idea that you have to go through a life's event in order to get the real lessons in such event is a very fast route to put yourself at the mercy of life should the event not work in your favour. All around us, life has placed sign posts informing us of actions that are profitable and those that are not. You don't need to dip your hand in a burning flame in order for you to be sure that the flame actually burns. Life had already given us various scenarios of what the burning flame can do. It's left to you to believe the pictures of the actions of the flame life had shown to you and avoid dipping your hand in it or you do otherwise and bear the consequences all your life.

Look around you, you will see a lot of people that got burned and incapacitated because they got involved in events that life had already given clear lessons on. Life has clearly spelt out the reward and ( or ) consequences in every event in It. So it is left for you to believe life and learn its lessons with peace of mind or you choose to go through the event and bear the consequences. Going through an event doesn't guarantee that you'll actually learn the lessons in it. So there's no gain in experiencing an event in hope of getting the lessons in it because you may not be in a good condition or a good frame of mind to actually learn the lessons should the event turn out to be destructive to you.

So in the journey of life, everything you need to Learn life's lessons is already around you. If you pay attention enough, you'll always get the lessons in most of life's events without actually going through them. Don't wait to experience an event begore you learn life's lessons because in the journey of life, experience is not a very good teacher.
