The Anger Driven Life - Signs It Might Be Yours

in #life3 years ago

Are you the kind of person who enjoys the life of the angry mob? If so, this is definitely your kind of life, and it might be your path to a more peaceful, happier and healthy life as well. The good news is that there are a number of things that can help you turn the tables on your anger. The following are five signs that your anger may be causing problems for you, and steps that you can take to stop this cycle:

  • Your attitude toward other people is negative, because you are constantly feeling other people's anger. In fact, you will be amazed how often people express their own anger when they see others acting out of line. When you feel anger all the time, you begin to have an attitude that is not very supportive of people who are struggling with anger, so your own anger becomes the focus of your life. To break free from your destructive pattern, start changing your attitude. Take some time to reflect on the things that really make you happy in life, and take a moment to remember the reasons why you need to avoid getting involved in negative interactions.

  • You experience depression or sadness frequently. You feel sad and down about certain things. There may be times when your mood seems out of whack. You may find yourself saying things that do not fit your personality. If you feel depressed or sad, chances are that you are experiencing negative emotions from your anger.

  • You have trouble making rational decisions. You may find yourself taking action based on emotions and feelings instead of thinking clearly about the choices you make. This is especially the case if you are angry all the time. In other words, your anger is clouding your judgment.

  • You have trouble staying on task. Your ability to stay on task might be hampered by your inability to think logically about the decisions you make.

  • You have difficulty focusing. You might find that you have trouble concentrating on your work, or on a particular project, or project. when you are dealing with people who are dealing with the kind of negative anger that you are facing at all times.

  • You suffer from sleep issues. You might have trouble falling asleep, or staying asleep. Some of this may stem from your inability to deal with your anger, but you may also experience sleep issues because of your inability to deal with the stress that can come from your anger. For example, if you keep on waking during the night because of your age, then you need to find ways to relax and reduce the amount of stress that can come from your rage.

  • You find that your friends, family, or co-workers seem to have better relationships with other people when their lives are less complicated. When your life is more complex than yours, you are able to create a better level of trust and appreciation for people that you don't know as well as you can with your anger. This could be due to the fact that you have less issues with people who are dealing with anger. and who do not have anger issues. You are better able to develop a positive relationship with people, and respect them because you know what they are going through.

  • You have problems with self-esteem. This is a very big issue for many people and might lead to problems with relationships, and with other people in your life.

  • You tend to blame others for your issues. If you are angry all the time, and you don't seem to realize how much you are causing harm to other people, then you need to get your anger under control, and get your anger under control.

@raylangiv: This was an interesting read and while I would agree with much of what you said I was wondering if you had any scientific references to bolster your point. It is my habit after reading posts like yours to go and do further research. These are very important issues because I have seen anger destroy people’s relationships and might I daresay people. I hope you will agree that for some people receiving outside assistance might be required given the depth and breadth of the individual’s condition.

I was inclined to ask therefore, where may I find assistance. You stated emphatically that your post was about the “five signs that your anger may be causing problems for you,” however, many people want to go beyond the problem and find solutions. Perhaps you have done a post on this before, if so, my apologies. If you are yet to do one, might I suggest that you so and bolster your work by providing some scientific references, be they articles or videos for the reader to consult.

Again, a wonderful read. Keep writing.
