Success is any desired goal on a specific task and at a particular time. @hatu we call it many names_ achievement, goal, desire, to an ascetical religion like Buddhism, it can mean craving because everyone goes after it.

Success is the only thing that gives meaning to life perhaps, making life an exciting place to live. It is our part and parcel because it plays a key role in our lives as a result, many are longing for it. It is at the back of our mind, we feel realizing it at the end of each task. Success can be anything that brings happiness at the end of each work or assignment when it brings a good result. In investment, it is a profit and reputation, and in marriage, it is a happy home. It is the lost treasure, everyone, craving for.

Ways of Achieving Success
Everything has its own price and its sacrifice to pay for, and for a success, the following are important in its realization on any journey one embarks on.

Effort
The effort is a personal exertion in achieving a goal. The effort is an input data which provides the output result in the long run. Like a computer application, no data processed no given information. Therefore, don't expect to reap when actually you sow nothing. This is the first paying price every successful one made. The whales have put in both bodily effort and financial effort before they realize more followers and tokens in return and that is exactly the rule to follow for all of the other things worthy of success outside there. One shows to reap. In the effort processing, there are some essentials necessary to put at the back of mind before a success is achieved. This involves:

Learning: the direction that leads to a success is learning. Learning is the number one process of success, your number one input effort. Anyway, to success, learning is prerequisite. Sincerely, when I don't know the way that leads to a destination how can I get there? How could you know what takes to realize the goal? In every earning, learning precedes. Thus, a popular saying, learning is earning. Those who are whales today have once, studied how the system works, the rules of the game and as a result, they play the game wise.

Determination: serves as a sacrifice that a success requires. One must get himself convinced that he deserves this success and works towards its achievement. When Norman Vincent Pearle was saying in his book, You Can if You Think You Can he said, The strong determination of Mohammed made him realize his goal. This speaks of other successful men in history that the realization of their dream lied on the strong will of their determination. There are many daunting incidents that happen on the success journey only a determined person can continue the journey.

Doggedness: when we consider determination, we must not forget being dogged. Many challenges encountered by a potential successful man cannot be endured without one is firmly strong enough to handle the situation. Success is characterized by series of setback, neglection, turning down among others. But the strong one with clear vision will not for once loose confidence in himself despite, all forms of discouragement.

Resilience: the ability to quickly recover from depression, setback and discouragement. Life is made up of good and bad. And whether we like it or not we taste them both, we experience it. It is not out of place to say that there is no way we cannot experience difficulty, only who does not give up survives and overcomes. I have treated this in my previous post here. This enlightens one's mind that one should try as early as possible to recover from recent losses and take on the charge without letting previous NO ties him down because that NO is an implication of New Opportunity.

All the above elements are essentials to the realization of a goal which also summed up to one's effort

Focus
A traveler needs a map to guide him throughout the journey and a vivid attention must be paid to while reading the map unless if he wants to lose. There are many distractions in life (like an ad shown on a free downloaded app. in that if one is not preparing enough will at the end of the day not be able to point to what he achieves in each passing day. Therefore, for anyone pursuing success he must always be focused. This will help him gets to his destination in time.

Experience on the journey to Success

But when a person strives towards a success his mind clings to it that he will be thinking what likely the expectation will be. For instance, a student looking for an admission into a university will be all time putting his mind and craving for its achievement. At this moment he will be thinking or pray to a power in order to realize it. For a husband whose wife is in labor for the first-time experience will be disturbed going up and down as if no woman has delivered before, but it is true of him that he has never experienced it in his lifetime. That is the reason why he was disturbed all way.
I can remember when one of my friends won N 1 000 000 for his business idea, he has been all day since the day of nomination thinking and talking over it time upon a time simply because it never happens to him. He would say if the money is disbursed this week, I would do such and such.

What gives more concern for a success is the fact that people don't know whether it will yield or not. They afraid of losing the fortune because of the lesson learned from others experience. But for the one that has had such experience before will lesser his frightening, like a football club that has won many trophies, will not be much carried away with its emotion.

The reason behind this fact is that people afraid of the possibility of whether it will work out or not. The precaution that one should take is for one to prepare his mind for the worst and put in the best. This is not an advice to be a pessimistic rather, it is an encouragement to bear in mind that the expected fortune can be and at the same time may not. When necessary effort has been exerted in the right place to achieve a certain goal, a positive picture should be drawn in mind, also, a care should be taken perhaps, it may go another way. If this belief is held, an individual will not be too anxious and if it works in his way he will not be too over joyous, because the former averts calamity while the latter preserves one's happiness for a long time.

In 2005, when Arsenal and Barcelona meet in the final round of Champions League, the lost of Arsenal to Barcelona witnessed many miserable scenes of suicide, vandalization of properties and disharmony (in Nigeria) because of craving as many Arsenal fans believed that they would win the trophy but the fate went against them. This owes to the lack of emotional conscious of the fans; had it been they preconceived that the result is a coin side that it can be a head or a tail, history might not have recorded such brutal incident in Nigeria.

I have heard the issue of a man that borrow some amount of money to participate in MMM Ponzi scheme when MMM froze the account of all members he hung himself.
There are many issues of a successful people who only for the sake of joy has brought immature death to his life. Dagrin, a popular rapper in Nigeria brought untimely death to his life. He and his driver drank themselves up and they went forward driving back home and that was the end of both of them, they were hit by a truck. These two instances precursor that both situations are very dangerous, over-depressed and overzealous of self-indulgence.

Then, what is the sole aim of success?

The answer is known to everyone that success meant for life enjoyment when the aim is accomplished. One enjoys his life when his success also brings success to others lives. A successful life that benefits no one is just a mirage while a life without success is a blunt then, it comes to rationalize in the theme of life and how a life should be lived. Pursue success because you are born not only to pursue it but also to achieve it. Your skills are your tools use it judiciously while your life is a vehicle that conveys you to your apex destination. We can build an empire of success only when we see that everyone as a definite quota to contribute as a holding fact that no one is an island to himself; we all need one another. The success of Bill Gates lies in the support of his team, the contribution of an ordinary messenger counts when its value is observed. Let's inculcate a soul of togetherness thus in it we grow to the apex of all possibility.
