Vote: Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather Who will Win?
Many believed to be impossible is happening now on August 26th at T-mobile Arena Las Vegas, Navada. It's the Boxing match between two of most famous figures in combat sports and two of the best trash talkers Conor Mcgregor and Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.

Dana White president of UFC announced on 15th june that both the parties have agreed to fight on August 26th, 2017. Following that both Conor Mcgregor and Floyd Mayweather tweeted.
Mayweather is a defensive genius and arguably one of the best boxer of all time with a perfect professional record of 49-0. Even though Conor has a record of 21-3 in Mixed Martial Arts and multiple division champion in UFC, Vegas betting odd are in Mayweather’s favor. Main reason being this will be his debut in professional boxing.
Although boxing purists giving Conor 0% chance to beat Floyd. But here are some numbers that will favour Conor.

This event is a double edge sword for boxing, either its lifts boxing or it will put a final nail on the coffin as there no big stars left to bring both eyeballs and money like floyd does. On the other hand both Conor and UFC has nothing to loose, they can just rub off the loss as it was a boxing match.
It will be the biggest fight in combat sports history atleast by number wise and is predicted to beat Floyd vs Manny Pacquiao fight. Floyd vs Pacquiao generated over 4.6 million PPV buys and this fight certainly breaks as this will be the merger of both Boxing fans and MMA fans. Floyd expected to make atlest $100 million and conor to make $70 million (Guaranteed). If Floyd beats Conor he will break Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 and become 50-0.

- Fight Southpaw and Floyd struggles with southpaw fighters
- Conor has rock solid chin and hits like a truck
- Floyd fought his last fight 2 years ago

With Vegas betting books favouring Floyd -1100 over Conor +700, I would certainly bet on Conor. (It's like buying Bitcoin when it was $350 or buying Ethereum when it was $50).

Mayweather should win this fight rather easily. How long it goes will probably depend on how much of a show he wants to put on.
strongly agree. this should be really easy for Mayweather since it's a boxing fight not MMA, i am not saying MCgregor is not a talented fighter but it will difficult for him to keep up with a boxer specially with Mayweather's record.

Great post but bad analogy with buying ethereum at $50. Ethereum at $50 was a bargain and if I had more money I would have invested more (I did get in at $48 with what I had) because I only saw it going up and if it doesn't, it would not have gone down to $0. Your McGregor bet would be up 5.5x or down to $0 by the time the fight ends. Personally I would rather invest it in IOTA while it's under $1. But I'm sure there are a lot of people who disagree with my opinion as "everyone would lose eventually" and Mayweather is 40 years old, but I am convinced he will go to 50-0 after this fight. I'm running a contest so get your entry in! At least you won't lose money if you're wrong.
