Do not rely on people
One mistake you should never do is to put all your trust on humans, people change, they can back out from what they promise you in the very last moment. Don't tell them your secret, they can use it against you and betray you when you least expected it, help people but do not expect anything from them, the same mouth they use to worship you when all was well is what they will use to mock you in difficult time.
