Dunes and vegetation of the Ria Formosa
Hi Steemians !! It's been a few days since we came back from Portugal but I still have some photos to share.
After a few minutes of boat, we stopped in the dunes of "ila deserta". A sandbank where there are fewer people than on the beach of Fuzeta.
I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the vegetation surrounding us.
I am not at all specialist in this kind of plants, if among you someone knows what it is I wait for your comments.
I think this is a dune thistle.
And here is a creepy greasy plant.
The Ria Formosa offers a great diversity of plants.
Another creeping plant.
I find the plant in the next picture particularly beautiful, it reminds me of lavender.
Thank you for following this blog about the biodiversity of the Ria Formosa and its plants that grow in arid soil.
Steem on!!

No, I do not think so. We are working and I have no more vacation for this year. Maybe next year it all depends on where it's organized.
Yes, I hope it comes to Asia. Twice in Europe already.
Beautiful desert! Reminds me a little of the Galapagos...
