Silly But True
So I woke up the other morning with a chill in my bones. It was cold enough to snow outside and I was feeling it more than usual.
I had three t-shirts, two tops, bottoms, a hat and two pairs of socks on. But still, I had a chill.
'Put another pair of socks on' The Spirit told me.
But in my mind I believed my feet wouldn't fit into my shoes with three pairs of socks on, so I ignored the advice.
I heard 'Put another pair of socks on' countless times throughout the day and I ignored them all until by 6 pm, I finally gave in to the nagging and slipped on a third pair of socks.
To my surprise my feet still fit in my shoes. Within 30 minutes my day long chill had passed and I was toasty.
Gotta keep working on listening and doing, especially for the small stuff.
