Memorable student time

In this writing I would like to tell you about the first year at the university which is also the most memorable time I have had so far.
On the day I knew the results of the university examination, my whole family was very happy that I had passed the entrance examination to a university in Hanoi. The day of the beginning of term, everything is totally new: new school, new environment, new place. My life might be busy because I will have to start an independent life from that moment. Before entering the university, I was a lonely and introvert person. I used to live and study with my own space. I did not have the habit of making friends and never shared it with anyone else. My life is not too noisy, bustling, and everything is so peaceful.
When I came to college, I accidentally join in a volunteer student group of my faculty. It is "The volunteer student of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction" or another friendly name is "X-Team". After one year taking part in X team, my life has made more possitive changes and become more colorful.

At this time, I feel more confident. When joining in the team, I found life so meaningful because I open my heart and share everything with everybody.
The first program I attended with the team was 'Blood of Construction' .I was assigned to the take care of people after blood transfusion. In a room, sitting next to me are those who have done a very noble action. Here we talk, play music, play team games to help reduce the pain for those who have been involved in blood donation. Sitting beside me is a girl being older than me 2 years old and she is also a student of the school. We talk to each other for a long time. She told me about the life of students with many worries about daily needs as well as studying at university. She was the first person I talk to and share everything. Later on, I met her several times before she graduated, and now she has come to work in Saigon. Therefore, we have hardly met each other. On that day I kept running back and forth with my work such as taking water, taking bread and taking gifts for blood donors. That was the end of the day. I did not directly donate blood because I have some health problems. However, I am still happy for patients later need blood transfusion.

Followed by a series of meaningful activities during the year, gradually I had close friends who could share happiness as well as sadness with me. I am no longer a isolated person. Now I'm more confident. For example, I dared to stand on stage to be a MC meanwhile I can't make a speech in front of the crowd a year ago.
