You may think that being unhappy presently in life is normal because you don't have fleets of cars, mansions and lots of money yet. And probably when you get these things they will be happy. Well, its doesn't happen that way because happiness isn't a trophy you achieve & keep rather happiness is a way of living. So if you are unhappy now, pause for a moment and examine your life and see what you can change.

(1) BEING A PERFECTIONIST
Perfectionism they say is another enemy to happiness because it can also be counter-productive. There is nothing wrong with aiming for the moon and having high standards but things will keep going wrong if you can't do anything because your standards are unrealistic. Always remember, falling among the stars when you shoot for the moon is better than falling on the ground.
(2) OVER THINKING
Over thinking always manifest in the negative and makes you focus only on what could go wrong in every situation. Over thinking has the ability to make you unhappy in life because it holds you back from making most of opportunities you will later wish you took. The solution to over thinking is to rewire to brain for positivity by thinking of things that could go right too and not just things that could go wrong.
(3) POOR HEALTH
The downside effect of poor health on your happiness can never be under estimated. Exercising regularly and eating heathy helps keep your body energized, fit and ready for anything. It helps with mental clarity and also help boost your overall mood. You don't really need the gym for this. Anything that will engage most of muscles and make you sweat out like jogging, skipping, and push ups would do.
(4) EXPECTATIONS
Do you always expect people to treat you the way you treat them? or you always expecting everyone to see things the you do? You have to understand that everyone is built differently with different mentality and mindset. All you can do is to surround yourself with people that share the same philosophy and mindset. Even at that, do not expect much though because people can always change.
(5) BEING UNGRATEFUL
You become unhappy in life if you are ungrateful for the things you have in life and always craving for more or comparing the things you have with other people. You have to realise that happiness doesn't lie in material things in life, instead happiness comes from within you. Cultivate the habit of showing gratitude for the things you have and also stop comparing yourself to others.
