Fear-making isn't always easy. It requires courage, humility, and balanced reliance on others. Fear is a normal part of our emotional makeup; recognising it can help us achieve our goals. To grow comfortable with fear, first recognise and acknowledge it, then be with yourself while experiencing it. Here are some tips for overcoming your fear:

First, 90% of our anxieties are unjustified, and 10% may be controlled more effectively than we think. Instead than waiting for your fear to pass, act. Focus on your goals, not perfection. These steps boost self-confidence. Even if you fail the first time you try anything new, practise builds resilience and emotional literacy.

To advance in life, recognise your fears and reasons. People who always find excuses not to undertake anything lack enthusiasm, ingenuity, and willingness. Consider millionaires. Most lacked postsecondary education. Their innovation and hard work helped them achieve their goals. People who always make excuses lack perspective, patience, and determination.

Because we lack information, self-confidence, or experience, we often make excuses. Sometimes we lack the skills for success. Without these skills, we'll be stuck. Understand your excuses to overcome them. Ask friends or coworkers how they overcame their fears and justifications to overcome yours.

We're sometimes too chicken to risk. We're hesitant to try new jobs or hobbies. If we don't think changing our behaviour will improve things, we may be unwilling to do so. Instead of grabbing new opportunities to improve our life, we invent excuses to stay where we are. If you're like most people, you don't want to risk your emotions and are afraid of making mistakes.

Instead of relying on our fears and excuses, we should welcome the unknown with an open mind. Even though there will be hurdles, not taking action is costly. We may fear the unknown and think our parents were irresponsible or inept parents. How can we stop worrying and rationalising? Here are some tips for overcoming worries and rationalisations.

To begin, we must recognise that our excuses stem from a lack of perspective, understanding, or resources. First, admit that we're scared. Next, we'll gather relevant information and resources. After acquiring information and resources, we can take action. It's called reframing.
