2.22 What You Can Do ~ Connecting to Animal Guides
It has been said that in years to come, we will look back on the times we are now living in as barbaric, as times without awareness, times without access to Truth, Love, Freedom. Time where humans lived without respect to Life.
Most of us here reading this sit warm and comfortable in homes with electricity and running water.
We have some food available to eat, we have churches, libraries and support systems nearby.
At the same moment in time, billions of people live desperately in survival modes.
They do not have access of continuous clean water nor electricity, many do not have homes, nor any place they consider themselves to feel safe; many are on the brink of starvation and death.
Their lives are at the whim and mercy of the elements and players that interfere and make changes in the environment beyond any control.
The beings on Earth live at the mercy of selfishness and greed gone rampant and normalized. Corporations and monopolies have taken over every industry. And there is one industry which has taken the lead in harnessing pure destructive force against the Earth, animals and all Beings: The Animal Agriculture Industry.
Human reliance on meat, dairy and all animal products has created the following threats against Life:
- Deforestation
- Disruptions of river & stream systems
- Water pollution
- Air pollution
- Fishery depletion
- Species Extinctions
- Depletion and destruction of soil
- Over consumption of water
- Carbon emissions & climate changes
- Dead ocean zones
- World hunger
- Human obesity, illness, diabetes
- Societal and psychological effects
"National Geographic–along with countless other sources–cite that, “The biggest driver of deforestation is agriculture. Farmers cut forests to provide more room for planting crops or grazing livestock.” Plant-based agriculture used to feed animals bred for food drives up the amount of resources consumed by crops – “intensive livestock production requires large quantities of harvested feed. The growing of cereals for feed in turn requires substantial areas of land” – while grazing animals such as cattle place additional stress on the state of Earth’s forests, especially the Amazon Rainforests." Source
Large scale growth of food to feed to animals, for humans to then eat: this is destroying eco-systems across the planet.
Every time you purchase a product from a company that supports the animal industry, you too are supporting this and contributing your money, your energy, your power, into that destruction.
Why do we make this choice?
Why do people feel that they NEED to eat animals, dairy and eggs?
Do we really believe that our need for those things is more important than the sustainability of the environments that we each call Home?
I pray for every human to become educated on what is really happening on this planet,
so that every person may have their own chance to choose if they will be a part of the destruction?
OR a part of a solution!?
The animals cry out to us, beyond sound, beyond touch or sight.
There is a resounding symphony of pain, betrayal, loss, fear, heartbreak, abandon and complete disregard...
If you are reading this then the Animals have a message for you!
Humble Yourself.
Please reach out and connect to any Animal Spirit that resonates a recognition for you,
Ground into the Imagination...
What would it be like to be a deer? a crow? a rabbit in the field?
A bear?
A Lion?
the Animals Love us and each has a unique qift to share with us, if we open ourselves to Listen.
If you don't know what animal to reach for, ask the Universe to show you, and open yourself up to receive the mystery.
If you see an animal in pain, suffering, in abuse, lonely, angry, confused or lost
Please offer your Love and Healing light to the animal, and allow your Heart be a bridge of connection
So that we each individually can heal the pain we have caused the Animal Kingdoms
And bow our heads to our dear Friends and allow them to teach us their ways
May we All remember Ourselves and each other
May compassion and True Love carry us hOme together

Hmmm... while I wholeheartedly agree with you about the effect we are having on the planet, the discussion is actually ongoing about whether a switch to veganism would benefit the environment:https://www.sciencealert.com/vegetarian-and-healthy-diets-may-actually-be-worse-for-the-environment-study-finds
I love your post though, especially the call to connect with animals (and, I would add, the plant world as well)! I think this is crucial. On almost every level, the current mindset seems designed to cut humans off from the world in which we live, from reality.
Here is an article I wrote that you might like: https://steemit.com/jerrybanfield/@bennettitalia/supernatural-writing-contest-dragonflies-and-other-magical-creatures-by-bennettitalia
Thank you so much for reading and commenting!
I am glad you can relate <3
For me, connecting with Animals is a crucial part of Life which allows the mind to tap into new perspectives and awareness. Each Animal energy is a pathway we can follow to be more in tune and Aware of Natural reality.
Thanks for bringing in the plant kingdoms as well, I don't know where we would be without them!
As far as veganism benefiting the environment, I can only speak from my own experience.
Vegan I have met are some of the most hard working and compassionate people, that do A LOT of work physically and through their activism to continuously support the environment. The reason for this is that Vegans are often people focused on high ethical values, (i/e not eating animals), and they are highly logical, intelligent people as well and see the long term value of small efforts made in this moment.
The term "vegan" refers to a very specific group of people who live a lifestyle, or strive to, which is completely free as much as possible from any form of animal exploitation and cruelty, whether for food, goods or clothing purposes. This goes way beyond just what you eat, though Veganism is often focused on that.
To me this is really about how do we relate to our environment?
What do our actions create in the world?
Are we creating peace or pain?
How do we look at the creatures, plants, trees, a.k.a. resources available to us and live in tune with them instead of seeing them as something to use in some way?
If switching to veganism can at least bring about that change within a human's psyche,
to choose Compassion instead of Killing
To Connect instead of ignoring
To Honor instead of destroying,
the environment will surely benefit and all of Humanity
Let it be so!
Thanks for sharing your story about Dragonfly's 💖 💖💖
That really is a special connection you had with that creature.
Dragonfly's are one of my favorite insects, and hold some of my favorite symbolism!
To me, the dragonfly represent the process of transformation, similar to a butterfly, but much more rapid and purposeful, a dragonfly is able to adapt and glide through many obstacles with precision.
Whenever I see a dragonfly, to me it is a reminder to lighten my Heart and allow the changing tides to flow, and to allow myself to Emerge as the Warrior I truly am!
Wow this is a long comment!
Thanks for commenting and sharing with me,
I look forward to sharing more in the future!
Peace & Love
