However, as far as I see it, indifference is not the main problem. Ignorance - that is the real problem.

Imagine you have an ignorant man who's trying to help others. His so called "help" will create more problems. So it's better for everybody that this active fool become inactive or we can say indifferent.

If you want to cure somebody - that's good. But if you don't know how to cure, and nevertheless are doing it, you're creating more problems, isn't it? If you have no knowledge of medicine but still "cure" people, you're a dangerous criminal ;)

So indifference is a problem, no doubt indeed. But it's not the main problem, in my opinion. The main problem is ignorance.
