DO YOU PRAY OR PREY?
It is never a kill or be killed Place for us human, we just developed animal instincts out of nothingness to satisfy our greed and pleasure.
Reading an article by @sammie85 titled; Everyone prays, but whose prayers deserves an answer? some weeks back, i felt the urge to write about the Human Predators lurking around in our enviroments.
A concept in life where humans in their quest to get whatever they want and needed hunt and hurt individuals whos stands in their way. Praying and preying goes synchroniously with each other, our ability to discern when not to prey on the feeble ones around us in other to get our prayers answered is the key.
"Prayer changes things, but prayers without works/actions is dead!"
As a matter of the fact in quote above, which applies to both Religious and non-religious; an individual could pray for a promotion at work and not neccessarily need to go around spoiling the reputations of others that are due for the same promotion. You could get funds from the same sponsors without making the sponsors see the others vying for sponsorings Obsolete. This happens around us and even on Steemit!
Preying is the principle of survival in the Animal Kingdom and not Humans. "A predator who lacks the strength to prey is going to die of hunger". Sadly, this Rules never applies to humans except maybe in the Stone age. But in the present days; man,
woman, boys and girls now excercise this basic principle or survival in the wild to show their prowress on others, to show how connected and powerful they are over others.The quest of man to reign supreme which had destroyed thousands of brave men and women in the past still remain dominant around the World in the present Civilization.
The hunter also pray to make a kill and so does the kill prays to never become a meal to both the predator and the hunter. Imagine a situation where the prayers of both the hunter and the game gets answered, wouldn't there be chaos?
Just an illustration to be deeply decoded, because it applies to us all as humans. When you pray do not prey on your fellow humans to get your prayers answered, because if the prayer of the prey you intented to use as a pawn in your success strategy gets answered as well, the World would be thrown into a much messier anarchy and disorder as everyone would have to kill or be killed!
Please Note: Kill or be killed in this context does not apply to humans except on thr battle field. It is a figurative expression of what happens if humans try to vanquish each other to attain a level of success!

I've always had this thought also. And my conclusion is this. We humans especially Nigerians are all hypocrites.
No one prays no make heaven or for forgiveness anymore. Our chruch crusades are filled with prayers to get rich and fire killing our enemies like God is one dragon or Godzilla.
The so-called pastors and imams are secret idol worshippers.
So are we really praying, preying or making a fool of ourselves???

The above quote summarizes your post. Humans have survival instinct because we live in a world where we are either the prey or the predator. Yes it is through that we don't have to defame the character of one vying for same position but this world is a battle field whether we accept it or not. One has to exhibit atsome point the characteristic of a predator which is the make it's prey powerless. It could be through prayers or politicking or even through diabolical means so it is necessary that everyone to survive must have faith in whatever they believe in can help in times of trouble because those times will surely come except you want to remain dormant and not progress in life.

To progress in life, one might never go through all the means you mentioned. But if you must, try and do it without others Expense. Human Predators don't have happy endings, the ones that scaled through will surely not have a happy After life.

This post call for reflection. Many people pray and we want our prayers to be answered. It is good to pray but we need to check the motive behind the prayer we are praying.Most people now take up the responsibilities of praying against the success of others which turn the whole thing to prey.
Life is just funny,those that sell casket will be praying for their business to move forward and there is no way they can make sales without people dying.
The motive behind all prayers need to be defined.
