Road to Hardfork: One is Greater than Zero

I am sitting here listening to my music list, trying to figure out why this is so hard, this game of Steemit, this game of life. It is because the real answer is found when you are pulling from opposite directions.

I am here thinking why is this working out for me, all my friends I introduced to Steemit have quit, then I found out that it’s because I am a contradiction, I watch, I observe, I find out what works, I am always patient, I am always playing the long game, I am always checking things everyday, I am not crippled by anything.

Some see Whale privilege, so do I, I see the privilege of being able to get value for my creative efforts, some spend most of their time arguing whether the system is fair, but I believe that there are a lot of things to think about than that, because by the time you done figuring that out you are finished.

So instead of doing that I do, I am always planning, always strategizing, trying to find out how to make this work on the long run, I am always working with the feedback, with pattern recognition, and by comparism.

You have to keep on putting in the work, and know that one is greater than zero, you have to believe and build your brand, and know that with every new post, every new follower, you are getting closer to your dream

Sitting right here on my desk, I am finally finding clarity, 2017 can be a great year, I say this because I am going to snuff out negativity, if you are part of my following and you are a doubters, you might end up muting me or unfollowing me, because I am going to pound on this things, because the truth is that I am thankful, I am grateful to @ned and @dantheman, for giving us all this great opportunity, to rewrite social media history.

So I am going to be working on my goals and ambitions, that is what I will be doing, that’s pulling from opposite directions, like a slow tortoise I am going to be chipping away all obstacles, I am going to be building my brand

How do I do that, how do I find out when it is time to quit on something and when to persevere, how to I understand when to listen to someone feedback and when to know when they are trolling.

How I am working consistently and continue putting out content that gets recognised by @curie and that helps build my brand, where is this power coming from, and how do I encourage all these young Steemians who participate in the fifty-word contest for young Steemians.

Paradise or War Zone

The trending and promoted page is a testament to the fact that Steemit is a war zone, I have seen promoted posts that don’t make up to the amount used to promote them, you just have to work hard and give Steemians, what no one else can and that is yourself, your creativity, your uniqueness.

I recently checked the amount of my active followers on deadfollowers.com and my suspicions was confirmed, some of them have not be active for a while, some for up to a month.

The recent drop in the price of Steem has discouraged a lot of people, but I personally think that the drop is not a bad thing all together, I think it is a way of weeding out those who are here only for the monetary rewards and have no desire to pursue the development of Steemit.

I am not saying that the money is not a good thing, I am just saying that it should not be the main focus. Prior to the arrival of Steemit, we spent almost every day of our lives posting stuffs on Facebook and Twitter and no one paid us a dime for that.

I am often asked about my plans for Steemit and I always tell the person asking that I have a long term plan, for some a long term plan can be three to five years, but to me it means for life.

@dragosroua in a recent POST talked about the current happenings in Steemit and the recent drop in the price of Steem, and the increase in the number of Steemit users

You may be having doubts about Steemit and thinking that the recent power down is unhealthy for the platform, but that’s because you are thinking 2017,2018, 2019, I am thinking life doubters.

It took Facebook seven years to turn up profit, but Steemit is special, it started rewarding from the first year, so hold on and know that this is just a test, and that gold becomes valuable by passing through fire.

So everyday is going to pass by, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020,2021, and you are going to look for the short game, that miracle algorithm, that one post that is going to change your outcome and continue to search and play the short game, but I am going to continue to put in the work, the hours, the long term value, I am going to be executing.

Thanks to those people who inspire me and are working everyday to make Steemit great, @instuctor1212, @good-karma, @the-future, @cryptofiend, @fibra59 just to mention just a few, thank you all for co-signing this journey

Very inspiring. Thank you. I must say I am a new user but have also been a bit disheartened by some of the infighting I've seen. You've put a positive spin on it for me. Thanks.

You just have to persevere @whistlejacket
