Don't Let Waiting Cripple You

One of the attributes of us humans is that we possess a great deal of hope that things will always work out, hope is good, but hope without action is empty.

The reason why we don’t achieve most of our goals is that we are always waiting for the right time to start working towards it.

Some people are waiting to graduate, some are waiting to win the lottery, some are waiting for when they finish their youth service, some are waiting for a magical idea, waiting for recognition, waiting for greatness to happen.

However, there are things you can do now that can create much joy as what you want to achieve in the future. Joy is not a reward scheduled for tomorrow, it is a reward for the completion of immediate instruction.

We always think that in the future our fortune will change dramatically. Waiting sabotages you’re reaching for change, we are teaching ourselves to endure the wrong way.

We all know that adaptation is an important human trait, it is a tool but if wrongly used it can be fatal. Our adaptation to unpleasant situations cripples our power to change it. It sabotages our faith and delays breakthrough. Waiting is a philosophy that adapts us to the present and sabotages our future.

The time of your waiting is a time for you to get mentorship, a time to learn and listen to people who has what you need to get ahead. You have to know that you are not ready for your future

Time to act like the future you see, you have to polish your gift, act like the person you believe that you are going to be, you probably have a future so large that you are not yet prepared for it.

If you are already in your future then it did not take much work, you should become a different person every day of your life, if you are today the way you were yesterday then you are already boring

There are people who are scared of becoming, or too proud to become, they won't accept that they lack the requisite knowledge, they won’t confess what they lack, they don't want to undergo the learning process, they believe that things will just work out, things don’t just work out, they will work you out if you are not ready to learn.

The law of process is important, it births anticipation and hope, and we know that looking forward to something has its own pleasure.

Waiting is not the postponement of your pleasure there is something in your present you can always enjoy.

Becoming is a magnificent process, it is part of the joy, it is learning, it is receiving, if you are the way you were five years ago then you haven't learnt anything, if the knowledge hasn't changed you then you don't have any knowledge.

Is your work sloppy right now because you are waiting for when you can really perform, are you holding some of your best back because you waiting to use it when you get "there", or are you pouring your best into the present, are you turning moments of the present into the highest level of excellence, have you extracted every available resource from you immediate environment, have you received everything from where you are.

You have to understand the law of recognition, right where you are is what you are looking for. you rarely see what you are looking at, what you keep seeing becomes hidden, what you keep seeing you stop celebrating because the mind searches for new, it has an appetite for difference, it ignores the common things your mind has eternity in it, it always wants to see new things, and sometimes we fail to see what is right in front of us, we don’t see what is close.

Some of us want to see so many good things in our future that we don't see what we have in our present, our eyesight, our ability to think talk hear

What do you do while you are waiting, start an inventory of what you have got, something you have now is the key to something you want in your future. Where you are is something electrifying, something unique, you have stopped drilling in your present location, you are so busy looking for new territories that you don't see what's present in front of you.

Can your friends or co-workers describe your as a person of integrity, while you are waiting to be the leader, while you are waiting to get to the top your work is talking for you, what you do while no one is watching is talking for you.

You have to be a problem solver, problems are gates, problems are doors, problems are opportunity for significance, without a problem you don't have a future, without problems you are not needed anywhere, if no one has a problem whether, mentally, emotionally, or otherwise, then you are not necessary, problems create necessity.

Problem-solving guarantees your distinction, problem-solving makes you known, there is something in your present worth everything in your future, and you can make your present bigger than you thought your future will ever be. For you to be significant, you have to be different.
