Yes, sometimes our thoughts are our worst enemy, especially when we allow our thoughts to be influenced by what the world says, what others say or what satan says. That’s why Romans 12:1-2 encourages us not to conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Only the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit can transform our minds. When our thoughts are set on things above, focused on Jesus, then we can enjoy the peace and joy that come from Him. But I agree it’s not easy, and can often be a daily struggle. Thanks for your sharing.
