I try to read something different everyday. It does not have to be in-depth books. Being a retired septuagenarian I consider it mental calisthenics
that complements my gym workouts. I make it a habit to read a variety
of different subjects to trigger synapses not normally used in day-to-day life. Also, daily scanning several thousand emails and RSS feeds helps me
aggregate articles for my blog and keeps me apprised of global issues
... cuts through the mainstream media BS.
