Opportunities never come twice!

Dear Steemit,
these are my amazing adjustments that had happened to my life since I found Steemit...

I have seen and witnessed the changes of people's lives when they entered this beautiful platform, and so it did happen to me too!

It's been four months now of my stay in this community, and I really had a wonderful journey in this platform.

Looking back to where I have started first...

"Is Steemit a SCAM?"

LOL

That was my entire thinking when @jassennessaj invited me last year. I often see his Facebook posts talking on this platform before, but I have just neglected those ones. Last August 11, 2017 a Steemit - University Campaign happened at our school, University of Cebu - LM. We have an exam on that time, I wasn't able to attend the campaign. He just sent me the power point presentation he used for me to understand what really a Steemit is.

It was really an informative presentation and I gained much information about what is Steemit all about. That ppt file changed my mindset; a thought suddenly came to my mind of at least to have a try.

I never imagined I came this far!

In just a day, I gained my approval for my Steemit account. I did create a long post then and this is the time I've met Sir Terry, @surpassinggoogle.

I read his post, I think it's all about newbies on Steemit - it was very helpful. And then, a day can't be done without posting or even just visiting on Steemit.

WELCOME! YOU HAVE JUST ENTERED THE NEW PHASE OF YOUR LIFE.
My Steemit journey changed my life completely in most unimaginable ways. Now that I am 4 months old in this platform, I would like to share with you guys on how Steemit made a big difference of who I am today.

1.) My Art, it blooms!

Believe it or not, I really enhanced my drawing skill. Steemit pushed me to my limits. I am a graduating engineering student and my life now is literally busy. I never imagined Steemit can bring back the passion that I was once lost.

I am here to inspire all individuals that you should develop your potentials and discover what else you can do. In Steemit, your ideas are the transformation of reality here. I am the witness that Steemit really brings and enhances each individual's art.

I learned mobile photography. My photography skill also developed when I started in this platform. I've always been a deep person, what I captured really has something to tell.

2.) The people on Steemit, they helped me grow.

I want Steemit to be known in the world. I want Steemit to reach the unreachable. I want Steemit to introduce to my family, friends and to the community where I belong.

I saw passion, love, life and family. Those are the things that pushed me why I decided to become an advocate. On my four-month journey, I became a Steemit community leader of @steemph.cebu.

I found myself upon doing all those things as a community leader. Steemit changed not just us, its community members, but also to the other people's lives.

3.) I expressed my innerself.

Steemit is the perfect place for your countless ideas, passions, thoughts and feelings. Whatever is behind on your skull, you can express it here in the community. Whether your passion is business, cooking, politics, photography, or just literally “blogging” gives you the opportunity to connect, know, and network to your "inner self". In my case, I love drawing. I started sharing my drawings, it really gave you chills knowing that people liked your works. I draw my feelings, I draw my soul.

4.) I shaped my writing skills.

This is one of my poems shared on Steemit...

"A Love That Never Last"

When I first saw you,
My heart beats slow.
One thing I know,
"I've fallen for you."

Time, days, months, and years have passed,
I still remember the day I've crashed.
To the person who made a blast,
And harshly stole my heart.

As the days passed by,
You never tried to say goodbye.
"I love you", is the phrase from you,
You always do, makes me fall for you.

Yes. I'm in love with you,
Since at the time when I first saw you.
I know you are the one,
Who completes my day and every second.

But all are temporary,
You've changed and moved away.
Far away from me,
And crossed the other way.

I've hurt you, and you've hurt me too,
From sweetest kisses to bitter aches.
I love you, whom I've always knew.
But all turned into goodbye that makes me cry.

Yes, Steemit helped me to think, create and write in a correct way. I've read a lot of writings here, they're all totally amazing and inspiring.

5.) I became an independent person.

This Christmas, I gave my sister a phone. It came from Steemit! She's very happy.

Now that the SBDs are getting more serious, I am planning to save all of my earnings here to have a family vacation this year's summer to El Nido, Palawan hopefully.

I think that's all guys. This year, I am extremely excited to what can I do more and what can Steemit bring more into my life..... and also to your life!

You know what, Steemit is really a dream. Never give up! Keep on Steeming!
