I am angry... I feel cheated… I want what I was promised
Born into a world of blindness, I came with high ideals and even higher potential. Every way I looked brought shock. Rape, murder, hatred… these were the stories told by my bedside.
You had so much. What did you do with it all. Greed grew rampant, you wanted more and more.
There was no exhale with your breath, the system was imbalanced. Not only now do we need to clean up your mess, we also need to rebuild the world for ourselves, for our children, for our own survival.
Enjoy your Cadillacs, enjoy your mansions and your medicare. Your reign is coming to an end, it is time to change the guards.
I write this in pain, my pain leads to anger, my anger leads to action. You were my idol, my warrior, my protector. Now I see what you are… a broken man who is walking the only path he knows.
With all my heart I forgive you, with all my heart I will love you, but the power is no longer yours. You wielded the torch and set fire to the forests. We do not punish here but we will not make the same mistake twice.
The world is changing has changed. We are in power now and we know what we want. All of those that stand in our way, trying to cling to the past will crumble. Our will is relentless, you can not stop us.
Those who move with the tides will experience the joy and love we are here to bring. Those who resist will craft their own hells.

Bro, I'm not 100% on who you are roasting right now but I like it. You've got me a little fired up already 😂😂😂
I like the themes you establish here in hurt, greed and attachment and address them in a very understated, but direct manner of speaking. If this were to be overly reliant on metaphor, or other poetic devices, it would have taken away the power of the piece.
The main thing I take away here, is that attachment leads to misery, and it is of our own doing that we tread that path. No one can save us from it but ourselves. We must let go of the material, and find out what truly speaks to us.
That thing being union and communion with a significant other or guardian figure, as alluded to. I couldn't quite get a proper tell on it, after several reads through.
There's some inspired language here, as well.
