Blog 002 - Weekend Staycation At Marco Polo Ortigas

Father's Day has just ended but I still want to greet "Happy Fathers Day!" to all the fathers here on Steemit. I hope you guys enjoyed your special day to celebrate with your family. I am not one of them yet and I don't have a father anymore. He died when I was in second-year high school. He will always be in my heart even if it's not Father's Day.

As most of the families celebrating that day, I and my friends celebrated it by spending a night at the Marco Polo Ortigas. It was a nice hotel and a great place for families and friends to relax in a cozy environment.

The reception area with a bar on the side was looking very nice. With natural light coming into the room, perfect for meeting and business agendas.

This is the other side of the reception area which I think very instagramable. The huge wall decor caught my attention and that made it the focal point of the room. I was really impressed by their interior design.

This is on the 45th floor of the hotel building. It's called VU's Sky Bar. Both sides of this place are open air where you can see the view of the city at night. I am afraid of heights so we just chose to stay indoors so we can also enjoy listening to the band.

The next day we dipped in the pool and enjoyed the jacuzzi. So far this was my most favorite part of the hotel because aside from the fact that this pool is indoor, the water temperature was just right for indoor swimming any time of the day.

It was a great feeling enjoying the city view while I was in the water though I am still scared of looking outside because just thinking that I was on top of the building it made my imagination even worse with a lot of what ifs.

I hope you guys enjoy my blog as much as I enjoyed the place and the time being with my friends.
