You will never believe this!

I am gonna blow the lid off the great EOS misdirection!

That's right. You may have been following the excitement over EOS, the next fantastic project from the great Dan Larimer.

Well I can exclusively reveal that EOS is not some distributed OS as we had all been led to believe. I have exclusive insider information that this has all been a masterful sleight of hand.

Instead I have managed to gain an incredible peek at what EOS really is.

Yes! A game, harnessing the incredible distributed nature of the blockchain. Look at the amazing footage I managed to grab below. Incredible cutting edge graphics boosted by the incredible power of the Etherium network.

Isn't this incredible? I tell you what. I am ALL IN!!

Alright, alright. I am having a giggle. I just really wanted to draw the EOS logo in an animation. It's not really a game :0) you can find out much more on EOS in this splendid post here

You know what would be really cool?

Make a simple old-school style arcade game like this and connect it to a Steem payout system -- highest daily/ weekly scores get X% cut of the payout, 2nd gets Y% cut, 3rd gets Z%, etc. (could go all the way down the line to the worst score, or throw out extreme outliers).

I'm pretty sure you could code the payout system to be completely automated (not entirely sure, since I don't know the least bit about programing) and we could have a Steemit account devoted to providing the daily/ weekly payout through "donation posts" -- ideally these posts would also provide some value besides being the bank-roll for the next payout (maybe they could provide stats for the different users over the last x, y, and z periods and have special bonus prizes for monthly leader-boards or for holding a top scoring position for x amount of day, etc).

The account owner could (and should) get a % cut of the post payout and the rest can be distributed out to the "gamers" and a bit to bonus prizes.

You know you really could be on to something there! I actually think there would be quite an interest in something like that. Everyone loves retro games. All that's needed is some pesky developers!!

I'm game...for the game playing part :)

It's all about the game!!

Game or a I power down! Not really, but I really want the game :(

It looks a fabby game!Dont power down! Not till steem hits the ten dollar mark anyway! :O)

Thats a fantastic idea. but please make a game like i played when i was young. just a jotstick and 1 firebutton.. Not like the consoles of today... i must think to long to know what button to press.. I had a C64 and amiga and atari.. maybe we can vote for a game... mine = The Great Giana Sisters

Agree on the simplistic controls.

I wouldn't mind anything from Pac Man to Donkey Kong (arcade classic) to Tetris to Frogger to Galaga. I have to admit, I've never heard of The Great Giana Sisters. I might have played it before without knowing the name of it, though.

Man giana sisters is a classic. Looks like Mario. If you search it on internet you find it easily. I am curious if you played it. But indeed it must be a simple game with simple controls.. https://classicreload.com/giana-sisters.html

Just looked it up...and, you're right, it looks a lot like Mario. I never played it, but I'd definitely give it a go because I LOVED Mario as a kid and still enjoy playing it to this day.

Ok let me know.. There are so much classic games nowadays you can just play in your browser. what was you most favorite one?

My favorite would have to be Super Mario 3, Mario World in a close second.

I bought Super Mario All-Stars for Super Nintendo, around the time that it came out, and probably got somewhere around 1,000 hours of play out of it!

Ha I'll buy it when you make the full game!

Damn, that could be a loooong time lol!!

I believe that Dan learned with Bitshares that a better product does not mean success. In a way, Bitshares was akin to the Sega Dreamcast, it was way to advanced for people to utilize it or understand why it was important. I believe Dan engineered the Token drop of EOS the way he had, in a way to garner traction of big money, before it can even be traded....

Dan poised the token to probably have a 5 billion Market cap at launch, which will turn it into a successful better framework for coins that has the money to overtake ethereum entirely.

I would be quite happy if it overtook ethereum. For some reason I have never gotten onboard with that coin

Same. I put a lot of money in Bitshares way back when it was still Protoshares. And not a dollar in Ethereum because I didn't believe in the necessity for low level programing. But with all these ICOs coming out utilizing ethereum, you will see much longer transaction times. As compared to Graphene which has unlimited instant transactions.

EOS will make make Bitshares flourish, but EOS will allow Graphene to shine in general.

Ahhh that explains a lot. Maybe my Pokecoins are actually Bitcoins. Maybe I can transfer the 100 coins from my Pokemon Wallet to my Bitfinex account :)

You should, what is it they say... if you believe it hard enough it will happen lol!! :O)

Indeed. Pokecoins are also a digital currency and who knows it has powers to evolve themselves into the Bitcoin blockchain. In the end evolving is what Pokemons do all the time :)

HAhahaha, I can completely see it! The future is pokecoin!

Me too. Probably they will arrange a nice isolated white room for me in the nearest mental hospital here If I say I traded all my Ethereums for Pokecoins and received a free Pokeball to all the coins in It :)

Hehe, yes you could have a point!!

What?? There is no crypto pokecoin yet - unbelievable :)

Haha, this must be addressed!!

EOS...financial S.O.S.

Hehe, many many things!

Is it a "game" like Mogul was a "game?" As in...it's just a scam?

It's not really a game

Dammit. Tricked again!

Lol, games, the new name for scams!

:O)

lolol nice marketing tactic
:)

Steem On

Hehe, it would be!! Cheers dude, full steem ahead!!

"Full Steem Ahead!!"

I like it!

:)

My favourite steemit saying :O)

Is that Galaga!? Im going all in on this ICO hahaha

I was thinking galaga too! I was actually pumped about playing it until he joked about how "good" the graphics are. Well played @meesterboom ...

It was totally inspired by the old games like that that I used to play!! Hehe! All in!!

Yeahh galaga, loved it

that's 10/10 would loop again animation! incredible

Yay!! Cheers matey chops!! :O)

Power up with POW and not DPOS! Oh man that's gonna cut deep, real deep :)
