Beer Saturday!!

It's been a momentous week in many ways and the perfect antidote is to get mawkit on exotic beer!
mawkit - Glasgow street talk for drunk as a lord

This week there is quite the animal theme. We have everything from Scottish Wildcats to strange Yeti creatures!

First up from this animal'y collection.

We are starting with a grand Scottish beer. The Wildcat.

It has a vegetarian society approved label on it but I don't let that put me off.

Cor, this is a splendid chap!! It's a dark reddish amber with a distinctive maltiness about it. This is the kind of beer I could have eight of before happily rassling a bear!

Speaking of bear...

I always seem to see a beer that reminds me of @razvanelulmarin and this week is no exception. Raz look!!

An actual lager dedicated to the bear faced among us! But how does it taste? It's good. A nice clean crisp lager.

Perfect for bouncing around in the sun. The kind you would happily glug in a beer garden by the dozen before waking up in 2023 with an awfully sore head.

It's so tasty and refreshing that I am reluctant to move on but these beers don't taste themselves.

Oh Glug McGlug you fearsome monster beer. It's dark and strong. Definitely a grown up beer. Whoaa, I can feel fresh new hair growing out of my chest. It's almost chewy, like beer toffee. I like it but I think it would only be wise to have two in the interests of European law.

The blurb on the back is amusing.

Beware the beast, scourge of the hills and devourer of sheep. For he is as old as the rocks and will wake from his slumber.

That's us warned then!

Phew, I am feeling quite heady. Of course the sun came out so I am going to blame that.

Wait... Did someone cry wolf?

What a nice design. A wolf fellow with a cane. My kind of chap.

This is a smooth one. An IPA which has quite the caramel note to it as well as the usual hoppy lager'y nonsense. Mmm yes. A fine way to end the tasting. I think I would call this a swiggy swiggy. The kind of lager you would take up the park.

Anyone fancy it?

Cheers!!

A pleasure to share, thank you for reading!!

Hehe, you could be right, there is more brewed than raz on that one!! It's a cool bottle though eh! ;0)

cool bottle indeed
I want to post a proof pic
but am not sure its okay hihihi
am very very naughty tonight
not that naughty in your head hahaha

Hahahah I am glad you clarified the naughty in my head biut how did you know what I could be thinking! lol!!

Well I figured I'd join you today my friend:)

Hurrah!! A very happy and cheerful cheers to you dude!!

Lol! Cheers!!!:)

Ka-ching!

Damn that reads like the noise a cash register makes, its meant o be the chinging of the glasses lol!!

Haha!!! Yes...that is the sound of our sorrows fading away slowly, only to return in the form of a hangover tomorrow! Lol:p

Ah so poetic. I completely agree. Roll on tomorrow... not!

wish we had more beer reviews here on Steemit!

I know! More beer can never be a bad thing! :O)

Slàinte Caraid, I'm going to enjoy me some great tasting stylish oak riped Innis & Gunn. :-)

I have a few bottles of that in the fridge! Slàinte mate!!!

Some of the finest I've tasted so far! Thanks Mate!

They are a fine range, one of my favourite beers actually!!!

Another fine Sabeerday! I know before I had wished that there was a dud in your choices, but after you stumbled upon one, all I ever wish are hits. I'm glad that there hasn't been a fail ale since!

I imagined the scene of you strolling in your garden while getting Bearfaced and your neighbor pops up and greets, "Howdy, neigbor! Watcha doin'?" with, oddly enough, a Canadian tone, for some reason.

I didn't know the Yeti's name is Glug. How do you do Mr. M'Glug? I would tip my hat to you, but I fear my ears would freeze and fall off if I do.

I didn't know the yetis name was glug either!! It was quite the surprise to see him emblazoned on a can.

Thankfully my neighbours are on holiday so I don't have to put up with any howdy doody patter from them!!

Most beers are utter hits for me!! ;0)

"When you get lit, it's a hit" as the elders of my village used to say.

You timed it exactly when your neighbors are away, you sneaky sneak you.

Perhaps we aren't as worldly as we thought. Heck, we didn't even know the abominable snowman's name!! We didn't even bother to ask his name! For shame!!

I am ashamed. I have never even met the bloke and got his name wrong!!

Neither have I! Perhaps, the Yeti has a way about him that easily gets forgotten. Maybe that was the cause of his self-imposed exile.

Maybe he is now coming in from the cold hehe

Or has he been here the whole time and we just didn't notice?? Shaving can do a lot to someone's physical appearance, after all.

Ah you could be right I thought that gentleman at the bank with the long swirling white moustaches was familiar!

How many cans does that glass hold?

That glass only holds half a can but takes a full big bottle!

It looks massive in your videos

At the risk of sounding risque... I have a bigger one!

I don't doubt that haha

Great post, very thorough reviews! Thanks for sharing! I just started an Adult Beverage tag... STEEMPUB. Feel free to use it for any other alcohol related posts you do. I'm trying to get all the booze in one place. Resteemed from Texas!! Cheers!!!

Steempub, that's a fine name. I will be sure to keep it in mind!! Cheers!!

Thank you, your support would be greatly appreciated! There is also now a new steempub channel in the steemchat area. Feel free to promote your posts there! Enjoy your day!
