From today, I am officially single. A divorcee, if you will. Unattached and fancy free......... Alright. Enough of that. Still, it's a fact. A little jump for joy is in order.

Christmas Eve. ( dun-der-dun-dun).
Where have the last two days gone?? Jesus, you have a lot to answer for. Basically, it's gone in a blur of shopping trips, Amazon purchases, washing, cleaning and wrapping stuff. Oh, and 2 litres of gin and constant bank balance checking.
It all started just after I had a nice breakfast and pint of Estrella in Nostrano Lounge.
Then the onslaught began. I had to take Louis round town to get some presents but he had no money, tut.
After that, I remember going to Costco?...........aww fuck it. Christmas stuff. endlessly making sure everything is done.
More importantly, it's done now. Bank accounts and credit card depleted. Motivation gone.
Let's leave this here and see what happens next.

Enjoy life. I was unmotivated too. But we all know life goes on. We need to move on no matter what happens. Happy new year my friend.
At the end of the day, you know she will arrive, the peace.
After all, she had a golden opportunity for a new beginning, and excitement for a path she might have taken in the past, but now she is different, just like you.
The butterflies in the stomach will return and with them love too. But this time she will come from a place a little less naive, without stories of princesses and knights, without "meanwhile" and without waiting for an external savior.
A reality in which you save yourself.

Single life ain't bad, once you know how awesome it can be, you will enjoy it to the fullest.
I've been single for a couple of years now really. Waiting for the "official" decree. You are right though. Being single is great.
