Few people know my longing. Few people know loneliness sometimes overwhelms me.
Few people know how tired I feel at times.
Few people know what my thoughts are before I fall asleep or when I wake up.
Few people know how much friendship and love I can offer when a friend needs me.

Few people know all this because few are the ones they've been interested in.
Few who have asked and few who have waited for the answer.
Few those who have done their time and few who they cared about.
Few people who listened with all the attention.

There are few, but my affection for them is inversely proportional to their number!
