I really agree with your point.. I think this platform is still not perfect, I think many will give up on this before it reach it's perfect form..
by the way.. filming those Orcas and Humpbacks gives me the chills.. I had experience filming Whalesharks in the Philippines, and they are known for being gentle giants, but still they scare me with their size.. @_@
