So that's what you look like... I admire you for your wit and independence.. I too am not a herd animal...Try to think for myself... I also find you quite generous with your up-voting... Much more than than the average.. Naming a daughter Jan would be my way of keeping the name alive :-)

Here in the Netherlands Jan is really a boy's name. So with naming a daughter Jan could give her "troubles" later on growing up at school etc.
Anyaway my son is glad with his name Dennis and the issue is long gone. Time heals all wounds ...
