Raised Beds Installed on a Volunteer Project
I was going through some old photo's from earlier this year. Here's a couple pics from a project I did a little while back for a non-profit organization in Huntsville that helps the homeless in our area.
We set up these raised beds and an automatic irrigation system so they could have a lower maintenance garden operation.
We used drip tape for the long beds from these folks https://www.dripdepot.com/ I highly recommend their irrigation kits.
I'm going to follow up with them sometime soon and see how things are still working for them. I documented most of the project and will have to collect all my photos to make a full post on how we made this happen.
That's certainly an interesting way to build raised beds.
Thanks Amber, found a version on pinterest and created one based on the idea.

Never tried using corrugated sheeting for raised beds - always used wood.
Any advantages / disadvantages v wood?

The corrugated metal made it fairly cheap to build these long beds. Other than cost I don't believe you get much more advantage over using wood for a raised bed. The metal may last longer than the wood. From what I remember getting soil was about the same cost as building these beds. We had to get some soil trucked in from a local feed an seed in town who gave us a big discount on it.
