Yes, I too came here because anomaly upvoted a post of mine. And every vote helps.

While I spend a lot of time doing content-creation and uploading my posts, I get relatively few upvotes and only occasional, minor rewards. However, I keep plugging away, since the future rewards are so promising.

Also, I try to spend a certain amount of time each day upvoting and commenting. Hopefully that activity will also pay off in future rewards.

In fact, today I bookmarked (in a separate folder) about 20 different Steemit feeds. Each day, I intend to read through the trending posts on each feed, looking for posts that interest me and that I can comment on. It may take a bit of time, but it will be interesting, as well as time well spent.
