Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Most Helpful Appliance".

As my body ages and the energy levels drop the appliances to make as much of the domestic work as possible are important. One, however, has proven to be the shipment of God that I had always hoped for, a robot vacuum cleaner. There is no more back pain when a wand is turned on the floor to annoy me. I no longer have to follow my head to every corner of the room. Finally, I do not even have to save it since it can be returned to the base to recharge.

It was not something that crossed my mind until it appeared in an ad on television. It seemed incredible, but even then the true beauty of it escaped my attention. Then, one day, when my back hurt and I still had to vacuum, I realized. How much would it cost and what would happen if it cost a thousand dollars would not be worth it?

My reasoning went further. A dishwasher cost me almost as much and takes away a load. The same goes for the washing machine, and I could never do without that. Add to the list the microwave and its wonderful benefits that save time, in addition to the stove. What, in fact, would be my life without any of these modern gadgets.

Recently a reverse cycle air conditioner was added to the list and the result was warmth in my room, which had always been the coldest room in the house. It was more like a freezer in winter and summer, and the temperature there at night could reach 100 degrees Celsius. What it did for me to have my room warmer or cooler, depending on the season, can not be adequately expressed.

So, why would a robot vacuum cleaner be different? Having thought about it enough, I called a few places to check supplies. After deciding on the iRobot Roomba, which was what appeared in the ad, it turned out to be probably the best one in the market.

Take it home and put it to work was pure joy. At first I saw him as a hawk to see how he dealt with electrical wires, mats and other things that could get in his way. He has a mind of his own and easily manipulates these things easily. It enters and exits between the legs of the chair, it dives underneath others when it has access and shoots under the bed and other places.

From time to time I hear his little melody that says it's going to empty. When it has little energy, it stops at its base and now, as with my other machines, I do not know how I would feel without it.
