Here is your weekly dose of “Five Bullet Friday,” a list of what I’m enjoying or pondering. I was inspired by Tim Ferriss's Five Bullet Friday and this will be my 8th one in the series.
I've been quite busy and neglecting from making more long form posts this week. I might have some more time to get to some posts I've been meaning to make next week.

Podcast I Enjoyed
Like I mentioned for the past two weeks, MartyrMade Podcast by Darryl Cooper is my new favorite history podcast. I'm now almost caught up with The Decline of the West as well. This is how good this guy is. Rarely do any podcast keep my attention for so long.

My analysis of this quote
Just heard about this crazy story of euthanasia murders (Sagamihara stabbings) on The Decline of the West podcast. Really shows you that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Delusions of utopian visions are incredibly dangerous, as well as literal applications of the Golden Rule. This also relates to Nassim Nicholas Taleb's criticism of Neil deGrasse Tyson's Rationalia. You can be totally logical but going down a path of insanity if you start with different axioms.
Another podcast I enjoyed
Lions of Liberty episodes with Thaddeus Russell, one of my favorite history professors. His interview was divided into two parts.

In these episodes, he discussed how he started to reject socialism after growing up in a socialist household. He also discusses why he agrees with many parts of libertarianism and anarchism, but he does not label himself and explains some of his very unique views that highlight the contradictory logic in most mainstream political thought.
The funniest part was when he discussed the shocking similarities between FDR’s “New Deal” and the fascist programs in place in both Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy in the 1930’s.
Darryl Cooper also commented privately: "Stalin was also a big fan of Roosevelt and the New Deal. Sounds like the world was one big happy family in the 1930s!"
