Who I am and why Steemit
Hi Steemit community.
I will present myself in a general way in this post to help you understand who I am, why I joined the community and why you should follow my work or not.
Background
I am a french and swiss citizen living in a pretty small village in eastern France. Surounded by mountains but also close to international cities such as Geneva, Lausanne and Lyon.
I graduated with a "baccalauréat in litterature" in 2011 (end of college) with english littearature, phylosophy and cross country skiing specialisations.
Then I graduated from a tourism school in Switzerland in 2012 but after that switched for a bachelor in Marketing, communication and internation business. The graduation took place in 2016.
I now live between eastern France and Vancouver British Columbia and this is the main reason why I am writing in english, beside trying to improve it.
Lost meaning
Nowadays the global economic system and global culture and reshaping the world and it is getting hard to find a place in it. 1990's kids dream become obsolete and having a formal carrer doesn't make sense anymore.
I always rely to it and try to find a sense in traveling to different countries, physicaly going beyond myself and killing time writing on the internet.
I also worked and continue multiple jobs that don't make any sense to me and this has led me to multiple "dark times" in my life.
Why steemit?
My goal with steemit is to find a way to express myself and use many erxperienced I had and the knowledge I acquired to share with the world by creating content.
Being aware for a few years of the lost state of many people in this world, I am continuously searching for a meaning of why are we here and what are we supposed to do.
Through this journey I learned a lot on different subjects, travelled and trained hard. This is what I want to share with you.
And why steemit in particular? Because i think it is a fair network that rewards fairly content creators with the value they are creating and people in the community for their contribution.
I firmly believe this could be the future of social netwoks where the word social really means something
Why follow my work?
If you are interesting in personal development this could be a beginning.

Other outdoor sports: cross country skiing, mountain biking, road biking...
A fairly bit of phylosophy based on current issues.

Great introduction post. Welcome on board! I am with you in everything you wrote, but one thing I see different. Steemit is not a fair network. It is pure capitalism, disguised as hipster egalitarian thing. However you will find here big fishes becoming even bigger and many good writers earning pennies. Look all the different tools to get attention, votes, bots... Nerveless I am still steeming and look forward reading your posts.
Thank you @johano. Yes I already feel that that idea of the platform isn't really taking place at the moment. I feel that money makes views and followers as any other social network. But I still hope the idea is going to reach something greater.
I am actually exploring ways to make a good income by blogging to be able to travel and still didn't figure it out. But I will keep posting even if it doesn't make any money.

...but than, I already asked myself why do I write just here. Why to feed the big players? On the other hand, as you said there is still hope that things become better and there are a lot of really nice and smart people around. All the best, let's steem on.
