The Christmas holidays are particularly dear to me.

Making the Nativity scene or the Christmas tree are rituals that have accompanied me throughout my life.
Several years ago, I liked to help my father when preparing the Nativity scene.
Today I am forty years old and it is my little Chiara who helps me and my wife in the preparation of the Nativity scene and the Christmas tree.

Time passes and roles change but emotions are always beautiful and intense.

Le festività natalizie sono a me particolarmente care.

Fare il presepe o l'albero di Natale sono rituali che mi hanno accompagnato in tutta la mia vita.
Diversi anni fa, mi piaceva aiutare mio padre quando preparava il presepe.
Oggi che ho quaranta anni è la mia piccola Chiara che aiuta me e mia moglie nella preparazione del presepe e dell'albero di Natale.

Passa il tempo e cambiano i ruoli ma le emozioni sono sempre belle e intense.

Between a falling ball, one that breaks and my daughter's euphoria, preparing the tree is a moment of fun and sharing for the whole family.

In the photo below you can see my daughter hanging a ball on the tree.

Tra una pallina che cade, una che si rompe e l'euforia di mia figlia, fare l'albero è un momento di divertimento e condivisione per tutta la famiglia.

The Nativity scene / Il presepe

For those who believe, the Nativity scene has great value.
The unbeliever is equally fascinated by the beauty of the Nativity scene.
In fact the Nativity scene deprived of its spiritual value is always the representation of the birth of a child and when a new life is born it is always a miracle, it is always an event, it is always a joy.

Per chi è credente il presepe ha un grande valore.
Se non si è credenti si rimane comunque affascinati dalla bellezza del presepe.
Il presepe spogliato del suo valore spirituale è comunque la rappresentazione della nascita di un bambino e quando nasce una nuova vita è sempre un miracolo, è sempre un evento, è sempre una gioia.

Christmas: a bridge that connects the present with the past. / Il Natale: un ponte che collega il presente con il passato.

Christmas is like a bridge connecting the present and the past.
I live the emotions of the present and relive the emotions of the past.
I look at the amazement and cheerfulness of my six year old daughter and through her I relive the emotions I felt when I believed that everything was possible, when I was a child.

Il Natale è come un ponte che collega il presente e il passato.
Vivo le emozioni del presente e rivivo le emozioni del passato.
Guardo lo stupore e l'allegria di mia figlia che ha sei anni e attraverso di lei rivivo le emozioni che provavo quando credevo che tutto era possibile, quando ero bambino.
